As an independent part sourcing representative, my job is to help suppliers and buyers with their technical needs when it comes to sourcing specialized parts. I have a deep understanding of who the best specialized machine shops are and what they can provide.
For suppliers, I assist with material sourcing, gauge procurement, and clarifying customer demand. For buyers, I help by getting multiple quotes, introducing new vendors, communicating expectations, and identifying the best suppliers in their field.
Overall, my role is to act as a liaison between suppliers and buyers, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to ensure that their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
